Regular Commissions

Quote-Based Commissions

Terms of Service (Updated 25.05.2023)
Payment
- I accept payment via PayPal (sent as USD/) and Wise (sent as TRY). I also may have windows where I take FlightRising currency!
- I usually ask for full payment before I start working on the art. However, the commissioner may still ask for a payment plan on commissions costing over $50, or bulk orders.Deadlines
- My usual estimated deadline is between 1-2 weeks to a month. The commissioner will be kept updated & given the option of a refund if this estimation changes.
- I am absolutely willing to work with stricter deadlines for holiday/birthday gifts etc. but I might charge an extra few dollars depending on my queue at the time as I will have to work overtime.Process
- After payment is received, I will sketch the artwork and send it to the commissioner for approval.
- I either continue working if the sketch is approved, or make changes according to the commissioner’s feedback. I will re-sketch a commission up to three times like this, and the commissioner may ask for a full refund at this stage if they’re still unhappy with the work (please note that trying to exploit this term to get free art will get you blacklisted from commissioning me in the future).
- I don't usually show progress after this point until completion, but the commissioner may contact me to ask for updates at any time, or check my Trello.
- Upon completion of the artwork, If on a payment plan, the commissioner will be sent a small, heavily watermarked preview of the completed art, and will receive the HQ file upon sending the remaining payment.Refunds
- The commissioner may ask for a full refund if I haven't started drawing yet.
- The commissioner will receive a full refund, regardless of what progress stage I am at, if I realize I cannot complete the commission for any reason.
- The commissioner may ask for a %50 refund if I haven’t progressed past the sketch.
- The commissioner may not request a refund after the sketch is approved by them.Fixes
- All mistakes originating from me missing details on the references I was given will be corrected free of charge. I tend to keep layered files around for a long time, so please don’t be discouraged from contacting me about fixes just because some time has passed.
- If the mistake originates from unclear wording or incomplete/insufficient references given by the commissioner, I am still willing to fix small mistakes for free (small color adjustments, accessories etc.) but for anything complex (hairstyle/limbs/wings/complex accessories etc.) I have the right to refuse or ask for extra payment.Using The Artwork Commissioned
- The commissioner is allowed to re-upload/post anywhere as long as my watermark is visible and/or a direct link to one of my social media pages is provided. Please see these on the homepage of this website.
- The commissioner is allowed to print my art for their personal use. (Please show me if you do, I'd love to see that!)
- The commissioner is not allowed to edit/crop the commissioned art, or remove/obstruct my watermark in any way (Toyhou.se watermarks are an exception, I still require credit though- my TH username is FangedRomeo).
